How to Measure Distances and Areas
1.Open the Measurement Tool
Click “Mark & Measure” from the left-hand tool bar (ruler icon).
2.Turn On the Magnifier
Click the settings cog wheel in the top-right corner.
Then, switch on the Magnifier using the toggle.
The magnifier shows a zoomed-in view around your cursor, making it easier to click accurately on points.
3. Adjust the View if needed
Click and drag the arrow slider to expand the 2D or 3D view
4. Make measurements
Choose between:
Horizontal and Vertical Distance: click two points to measure a straight line.
Area: Click polygon, rectangle or circle. Draw 3+ points to measure the area.
Adjust or Delete
You can click and drag points to adjust them, or delete and re-do.
Note: For best results, take measurements while facing the object directly. In some cases, the tool may pick a point behind your view, resulting in a larger than expected measurement. If this happens, try measuring from a different angle. Always verify measurements on-site and in your CAD program.
5. Hide, Share, or Delete Measurements
Tick the checkbox next to a measurement to select it.
Once selected, use the eye icon to hide or show it.
Click the share icon to generate a link to share the measurement. You can also click “Export as PDF”
Click the trash bin icon to delete the measurement.
This lets you easily manage your measurements while working in the tour.
Click the X at the top right to exit the Measurement Tool.
